Volunteering as an official

Volunteers will work under the supervision of a carded official and do not require prior experience. While not a requirement, UCAC encourages our members to take officiating training. Athletics Alberta offers officials’ clinics throughout the year. For those of you who would like to work towards becoming an official, visit the Officials’ Area on the Athletics Alberta website.

Board of Directors

We are always looking for club members to join our Board of Directors, providing you an opportunity to have your voice heard directly and participate in the club governance and decision making.

Being a board member covers your volunteer commitment for the Calgary Track Council, but we will still need your help at the Calgary Spring Challenge.

If you have any questions or express any interest in getting involved, please contact the UCAC Board at board@uofcathletics.ca.
